Rocky beach - Lighthouse Park

When the sun made it out the Saturday before last, we took a trip to Lighthouse Park on Vancouver’s North Shore. I snapped a couple of pics of the wonderfully coloured peeling bark of the arbutus tree and rocky beach below.  Both reminded me of the layers we all have, skin and clothes – and how gradually, naturally, they wear away.
